Follow the safe drive-away time provided by your technician. The first few hours matter because the adhesive is still reaching strength.
Avoid unnecessary pressure
Leave retention tape in place if it was applied, avoid slamming doors, and keep the dashboard area clear while the seal settles.
Check the seal after weather changes
If heavy rain or a car wash reveals noise or moisture, contact the installer promptly so the issue can be inspected.
